Back in collage one of my friends wrote a story. There was a man, Claude, who was being interviewed about what he had seen of a government cover-up. He had been looking for his wife who had disappeared at the coast, and the only place he had not checked was her favorite lighthouse. Inside he found a trap door and a horrible research facility underneath. I was feeling uninspired for a project to provide 6-8 illustrations within the same theme, so I decided to provide my friend with a little fan art for his birthday. All images are collaged and then inked over digitally. The oddness of it all adds to the uncanniness.
